Rochelle James Photography

Rochelle James is a multi-international award winning photographer, judge and an accredited member of the Australian Photographic Society and Ipswich Photographic Society who has been located in the Lockyer Valley region (1 hour from Brisbane) with her Husband and two children for the past 16 years.  She is completely self-taught proving that hard work and commitment equal success. 

From day one she has been dedicated to using only the best Canon cameras and using both natural lighting and Strobe photography. 

When Rochelle is not pursuing her photography interests, she is spending time with her family and friends, camping outdoors or chasing thunderstorms for the perfect picture.

Rochelle’s desire to preserve the story of life’s moments has seen her focus on newborns, family portraits and Wedding photography, but she also enjoys commercial photography, nature and pet portraiture. 

She loves to capture people’s memories and seeing their reactions to the images and sharing in that enjoyment, her customer’s satisfaction is what grows her passion for photography and getting her creative mind into action. 

Rochelle has a home based studio and relies solely on word of mouth and referrals to reduce overheads and advertising costs, she is passionate in making photography available to everyone, this allows her to offer top quality service at an affordable price.
